Plans delayed for Ivy Tech’s garden from Green Sense Farms

WNDU – Indiana University South Bend just finished this mural for Green Sense Farms to take to their second Vertical Garden in China.

Here in the US, Ivy Tech has been waiting on a similar garden promised by the company.

Construction was expected to start earlier this year and be done in 2017.

Now, it looks like that project will take a little more time to complete.

Robert Colangelo, the founder of Green Sense Farms, said, “We’re very excited to be up here. We’ve had so much support from the community in South Bend and it’s just a matter of getting through our bureaucratic and legal issues, which I don’t see being insurmountable. But those things always take longer than you expect.”

They say they expect to break ground soon and hope to have the project completed by June or July of 2017.
