If you walk through Ravina Park, you might notice a new box that resembles a small house. That would be the new Abraham Arenas Little Free Library, built and installed by our intern Britney. The library stands right next to Britney’s suggestion box (which was installed a week ago).
This library is part our our team’s initiative to connect more with the community and provide children without access to a regular library the ability to read books they otherwise wouldn’t get. The way it works is when you take a book from the library, either return that book or replace it with a new book for someone else to read. You can even donate your old books to the library!
You can learn learn more about what a Little Free Library is here.
The library is named after Abraham Arenas, who donated time and supplies to the construction of the lending library.
